Welcome to Ukraine UK Unity, a local community group set up by volunteers to meet the needs of Ukrainian people fleeing the war in Ukraine and support local people who opened their home to people in need.  

We understand what an overwhelming situation this is for you and the challenges you may face as you arrive in a strange, new country and start rebuilding your life. We are here to support you with practical and emotional help.

Thank you to everyone who has already welcomed people fleeing Ukraine into your home. You are making a huge difference in someone’s life.  We are here to support you with practical help such as language, communication and cultural questions, and with emotional support if things get difficult. We can also help you to better understand the experience your guests may have endured so that you are more equipped to support their well-being and mental health. Getting in touch with other local sponsors can be a great source of advice and support.

We provide verified information and try to offer support for all people, who need it.
